Why the Pre Prep Day School?
"When in May 2024, my husband and I have found ourselves home educating our son, we embarked on a brand new journey, the home education journey.
We have found some great resources and a fantastic new community that has been super supportive and encouraging.
We have also found a wealth of resources that we have been utilising with great success.
But more importantly we saw how our child was thriving, keen to learn and explore, how his interests have developed and how he developed the skills to pursuit his natural curiosity for learning and for finding his unique place in the world.
Seeing how much we were enjoying the learning together process, but most importantly helping our child develop their whole child, we are now extending the invitation to other children who may also be not enjoying their current schools journeys or our missing school for different reasons.
That is where the idea of the Pre Prep Day School came about for children aged 7-8 came about and we are now inviting YOU and YOUR child to join us in this wonderful journey of growing and supporting our children to become happy, healthy and thriving members of the community and to be good citizens for their and for future generations."

Encouraged by the success of our last 5 years of providing after school and during school music opportunities for hundreds of children and adults in and around Ascot, there is now space for your child to join our growing day time school offering.

Singing, Musical Games, Intro to Music Theory.
Fees:
£165.00 per term (12 weeks)
+ Registration and Acceptance Deposit Fees in the 1st Invoice (New Students Only)

Rock School of Music Guitar Club (Debut/Grade 1 Level)
For students learning some of the best rock songs for fun.
Schedule:
Wednesday 5.00pm-5.30pm (St Francis Church, South Ascot)

£165.00 + Registration and Acceptance Deposit Fee in the 1st invoice (New Students Only)
The Course Objectives
The course's 3 year structure helps students dive into the world of music by building up their skills in a fun and social environment.
Reception Year:
- Use their voices expressively and creatively by singing songs and speaking chants and rhymes
- Play tuned and untuned instruments musically
- Listen with concentration and understanding to a range of high quality live and recorded music
- Experiment with, create, select and combine sounds using the inter related dimensions of music.
Year 1:
- Students choose their first instrument- piano or guitar.
- They also take part in Musical Games classes which introduce more technical vocabulary and concepts whilst being fun and enjoyable. The Music Games cover modules such as Choir, Music Theory for beginners and Early Ensemble Skills.
Year 2:
- Students continue building up their skills and mastering their first instrument of choice.
- They also carry on acquiring knowledge and skill in more advanced concepts of music fundamentals as part of Musical Games. The Music Games cover modules such as Choir, Music Theory for beginners and Early Ensemble Skills.
